Breakfast At The Office?

ORLANDO, Fla. (Ivanhoe Newswire) — Many experts say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, in a recent survey conducted by Kellogg, it was found that only one-third of American adults eat breakfast. With most people trying to rush off to work, it’s difficult to prepare a good, healthy breakfast at home. So why not prepare it at work instead? Here are some creative recipes that you can make at the office in less than five minutes.

No stove, no pots, no problem. With a slice of toast, a scoop of peanut butter, sliced bananas, and chia seeds, you can make yourself a delicious breakfast at the office with no cooking involved.

If you don’t mind a little cooking, you can make French toast in the office microwave. First, start off with mixing milk, a large egg, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and dash of cinnamon in a cup. Then rip two slices of bread into pieces and place into a mug. Pour your mixture on top of the bread and microwave for about one minute and thirty seconds. Once done top with powdered sugar and maple syrup and enjoy.

Want to add a little protein to fuel your day? Try some PB&J oatmeal. In a mug, mix rolled oats, water, milk, and peanut butter. Microwave for three minutes, stirring every minute. Then top with strawberry jelly.

And if you want some eggs for breakfast but don’t have the time, try microwave coffee mug eggs. Scramble two eggs in a coffee mug, add salt and pepper then microwave for about one minute and thirty seconds, while stirring half way through.
